Baseball Game Preview: South Panola Tigers vs. Lake Cormorant

For the second straight game, South Panola will face off against Lake Cormorant. South Panola will head out to square off against Lake Cormorant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

South Panola took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on Lake Cormorant with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Tigers have won seven matchups by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Lake Cormorant's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Romero, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

South Panola pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Lake Cormorant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
