Recap: Monroe Vikings vs. Arleta Mustangs
The Monroe Vikings lost against the Arleta Mustangs back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Monroe lost to Arleta on the road by a decisive 26-8 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Monroe in their matchups with Arleta: they've now lost eight in a row.
Leading Arleta to victory were Robert Tapia-ponce and Kennedy Duran. Tapia-ponce gained 49 total yards and two touchdowns, while Duran rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Arleta, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arleta also has no future games currently scheduled.
