Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only South Allegheny walked away with it. They blew past the Ellwood City Wolverine 77-34 on Friday. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Ellwood City still got an impressive performance from Aaron Lake, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

South Allegheny pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Ellwood City, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

As of now, neither South Allegheny nor Ellwood City have any future games scheduled.
