Volleyball Recap: Versailles Takes a Loss

Versailles was the 3-0 winner over Sherwood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Marksmen by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Versailles took Sherwood into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 15-8.

Versailles' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Sherwood, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Versailles will venture away from home to challenge Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sherwood, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Crest Ridge on the 16th.
