Henderson dropped their record down to 9-5 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Avon Grove Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-7 back in March.

Henderson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Prior, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

As for Avon Grove, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

On Avon Grove's side, Drew Meyers looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Meyers posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
