Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Comes Up Short

First Assembly Christian lost against Arlington back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The First Assembly Christian Crusaders fell just short of the Arlington Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jadan Santucci was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

First Assembly Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Arlington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, First Assembly Christian and Arlington will both be playing Trinity Christian Academy the next time they take the field. First Assembly Christian will head out to face Trinity Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Arlington will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
