It was a good run, but Meeker unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 46-25 to the Wellston Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Tigers are ranked 106th).

Meeker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Wellston, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Meeker will face off against Prague at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wellston, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Wellston Tigers duke it out with the Mulhall-Orlando Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wellston's defense has only allowed 20.4 points per game this season, so Mulhall-Orlando's offense will have their work cut out for them.
