Baseball Recap: Blue Eye Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Blue Eye's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Exeter Tigers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since April 5, 2024.

Blue Eye now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Exeter, they pushed their record up to 1-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Blue Eye will square off against Galena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Blue Eye their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Exeter, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Wheaton on the 27th.
