Football Game Preview: Richards Warriors vs. Dunbar Mightymen + Official Tickets

The Richards Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Dunbar Mightymen at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Richards' offense hasn't had much luck over their past five matchups, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dunbar's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Richards hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. The Warriors never let Longwood get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Richards' defense and their six sacks. It was truly a group effort as Juelz Baker, Jeremiah Lee, and Haneef Ingram picked up two apiece. Ingram also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.

Meanwhile, Dunbar strolled past Solorio with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 20-4.

Richards pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dunbar, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5.

Richards strolled past Dunbar in their previous matchup back in September of 2022 by a score of 16-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
