Soccer Game Preview: Bonney Lake vs. Graham-Kapowsin

The Bonney Lake Panthers will take on the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bonney Lake is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Puyallup on Monday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Bonney Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 81st, while Puyallup are ranked second).

Bonney Lake's goal came courtesy of Danny Panasyuk, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Graham-Kapowsin fell victim to Emerald Ridge and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Jaguars. Graham-Kapowsin haven't had much luck with Emerald Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bonney Lake now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Graham-Kapowsin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
