Baseball Preview: Alhambra Lions vs. Willow Canyon Wildcats

The Alhambra Lions will take on the Willow Canyon Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Alhambra comes in on three and Willow Canyon on four.

On the hitting side, Willow Canyon got a massive performance out of Santiago Reyes, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Reyes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Davidson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Alhambra pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Willow Canyon, their record now sits at 16-5.
