Football Game Preview: West Covina Bulldogs vs. La Canada Spartans + How To Watch

The West Covina Bulldogs will square off against the La Canada Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

West Covina is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 35 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Northview on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Vikings and fell 35-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, La Canada made easy work of San Marino on Friday and carried off a 35-14 victory. Considering the Spartans have won seven contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

La Canada didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Skyler Henry, Louis Drobis, and Brandon Mohaghegh picked up one apiece.

The win made it two in a row for La Canada and bumps their season record up to 9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for West Covina, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
