Keswick Christian entered their tilt with Countryside on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Countryside Cougars by a score of 57-49. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Keswick Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Devega led the charge by putting up 14 points and four steals. Devega is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Robyn Cantwell, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Keswick Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Countryside only racked up 12 assists.

Countryside lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alyssa Wright, who had 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Smith, who scored 13 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Keswick Christian has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Countryside, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.

Keswick Christian has already played their next contest, a 76-49 defeat against Lakewood on the 17th. As for Countryside, they will challenge Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
