Hand won the last time they faced Mercy and things went their way on Monday too. Hand narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Mercy 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hand.

Hand wouldn't go down easily and took Mercy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 23-25, 19-25, 17-15.

When it comes to explaining why Mercy lost, don't look at London Harger. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs.
