Football Recap: Red Bank Regional Comes Up Short on the Road Against Neptune

Red Bank Regional kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 13-7 to the Neptune Scarlet Fliers. The Bucs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scarlet Fliers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

The victory got Neptune back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Bank Regional will take on Colts Neck at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Neptune, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Freehold Boro at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
