Baseball Game Preview: Radnor Raptors vs. Lower Merion Aces

The Radnor Raptors will take on the Lower Merion Aces at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Radnor 1.6, Lower Merion 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Radnor took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Ridley by a score of 6-3. The Raptors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Lower Merion fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Strath Haven on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Aces' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Radnor's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lower Merion, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Radnor couldn't quite get it done against Lower Merion when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 10-5. Can the Raptors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
