Soccer Recap: Irmo Comes Up Short

Irmo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lexington Wildcats. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Irmo couldn't quite close it out.

Irmo's record now sits at 5-9. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Irmo is taking a road trip to square off against River Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. River Bluff will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Irmo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lexington, they will welcome Chapin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chapin will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lexington surely won't give up without a fight.
