Volleyball Recap: South Harrison Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

South Harrison had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Hawks were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cougars, so the Hawks were just returning the favor.

South Harrison easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15.

Kennedy Southern paced South Harrison's offense, picking up 11 kills. Southern got some help from Abby Louk and her 13 assists. Southern was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

South Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, South Harrison will face off against Parkersburg Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Lincoln and Elkins will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
