North Miami is a perfect 4-0 against Northwestern since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pioneers will head out to square off against the Bulls at 3:30 p.m.

North Miami is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Homestead just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 3-2.

North Miami actually scored more points across those five sets (106-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 14-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Northwestern got the win against Booker T. Washington on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Northwestern won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 26-24.

North Miami's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Northwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

North Miami skirted past Northwestern 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
