Basketball Recap: Oakwood Comes Up Short

Oakwood suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 50-18 loss at the hands of the Slocum Mustangs. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Oakwood now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Slocum, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Oakwood will square off against Frankston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slocum, they will take on Elkhart at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday.
