Christian Brothers waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles an 8-0 shutout. Considering Christian Brothers have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Christian Brothers pushed their record up to 13-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8-1.

As of now, neither Christian Brothers nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
