Stevenson posted their closest victory since May 2, 2025 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Phinn Thomas was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hall, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Stevenson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rancho San Juan, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stevenson beat the Trailblazers by a score of 8-2 on Thursday.
