Soccer Recap: Cedar Shoals Takes a Loss

Cedar Shoals lost against Clarke Central back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cedar Shoals Jaguars lost 6-2 to the Clarke Central Gladiators. The loss was the Jaguars' first of the season.

Arianna Allen and Zulma Valdivieso-Gutierrez scored both of Cedar Shoals' goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cedar Shoals fell to 2-1. As for Clarke Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Cedar Shoals didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Madison County on the 18th. As for Clarke Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Athens Academy on the 17th.
