Football Recap: Hoquiam Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Something's probably wrong if your squad accumulates more yards in penalties than offense, a fact Hoquiam just learned the hard way. They had to suffer through a 43-7 loss at the hands of the Aberdeen Bobcats. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Kj McCoy threw for 38 yards and one TD.

Micah Schroeder produced another solid effort rushing for 136 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.5 yards per carry for Aberdeen. With that strong performance, Schroeder is now averaging an impressive 104.8 rushing yards per game. Aberdeen also got help from Adonis Hammonds, who showed off his sure hands for 86 receiving yards.

Hoquiam's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Aberdeen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Hoquiam will face off against Toutle Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aberdeen, they will square off against WF West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
