Globe had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils by a score of 7-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Sir Sneezy was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Sneezy was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Braden Wager, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Coming up, Globe will square off against Wickenburg at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Cruz Valley, they will face off against Bagdad at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
