Volleyball Recap: Conestoga Now 9-3 over Last 12 Games

The Conestoga Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Twin River Titans on Saturday.

Maggie Fiene paced Conestoga's offense, picking up nine kills. Fiene got some help from Ayla Garrett and her 12 assists. Fiene was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Conestoga has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Twin River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Conestoga wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bergan Catholic on the 4th. As for Twin River, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against West Point-Beemer on the 4th.
