Football Game Preview: Burlingame Panthers vs. Carlmont Scots + How To Watch

The Burlingame Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Carlmont Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burlingame has given up an average of 29.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Burlingame came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 45-7 loss at the hands of King's Academy. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carlmont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Capuchino by a score of 31-19 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Scots as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

A big part of Carlmont's win came down to the chemistry between Brody Zirelli and his top target Dylan Sorensen. Zirelli threw for 196 yards and two TDs while Sorensen picked up 73 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Carlmont's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Burlingame, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Burlingame against Carlmont in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, as the squad secured a 38-0 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Scots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
