Basketball Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

Westview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Beaverton Beavers 48-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 45-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Westview's record now sits at 4-10. As for Beaverton, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview has already played their next contest (against Southridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Beaverton will head out on the road to take on Sunset at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaverton is facing Sunset at the right time seeing as Sunset is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
