Soccer Game Preview: Southeast vs. Bradenton Christian

Southeast is 0-4 against Bradenton Christian since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Southeast Seminoles will venture away from home to square off against the Bradenton Christian Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Southeast took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Bayshore a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Bradenton Christian was not quite Out-of-Door Academy's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 2-1.

Bradenton Christian's goal came courtesy of Faith Allen, who's now up to four this season.

Bradenton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for Southeast, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-10-2.

Southeast suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Bradenton Christian when the teams last played back in January of 2021. Can Southeast avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
