Baseball Recap: Lakeland's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lakeland hadn't done well against East Noble recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lakers walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Knights. The win was familiar territory for the Lakers, who have now won four contests in a row.

Garrett Pieri was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keyan Arroyo, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Lakeland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. As for East Noble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Lakeland has already played their next matchup, a 13-9 win against Leo on the 19th. East Noble has also already played their next game (against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
