Athens waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Lawrence Tigers 17-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Athens' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lawrence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-24.
