Volleyball Recap: Villa Madonna Comes Up Short

Villa Madonna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Boone County Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Villa Madonna now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Boone County, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Villa Madonna will host Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boone County, they will welcome Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluebirds will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Rebels surely won't give up without a fight.
