Basketball Recap: Heyworth Takes a Loss

Heyworth and LeRoy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Heyworth had to settle for second. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LeRoy Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Heyworth now has a losing record of 16-17. As for LeRoy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Heyworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for LeRoy, they will face off against Argenta-Oreana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
