Softball Recap: Mescalero Apache Comes Up Short

Mescalero Apache saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 18-2 to the Pecos Panthers.

Mescalero Apache's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pecos, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Mescalero Apache will welcome Capitan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pecos, they will head out to challenge Raton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
