Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic fell victim to De La Salle Collegiate and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Pilots, falling 9-0. The Irish haven't had much luck with the Pilots recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for De La Salle Collegiate, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Central Catholic will square off against St. Mary's Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. De La Salle Collegiate will be paying especially close attention to the Irish's game: after the Irish face off against Toledo Christian, they'll take on De La Salle Collegiate again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
