4A Foothills recap September 4, 2013
Pueblo Centennial's Quincy Kindred recorded the longest rushing play in 4A Foothills this season in his game against Air Academy last week. Kindred scampered for 85 yards on the play and finished with 190 on the day as his team bested the Kadets.
Kindred and Aaron Garcia provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Air Academy. The connection was good for 55 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Canon City's dynamic duo of Logan Nethercot and Logun Javernick proved tough for Rampart to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Nethercot threw for 237 yards and 2 touchdowns and Javernick had 132 yards receiving. Trysten Hinton helped Canon City's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 78 yards.
The Tigers' dynamic duo of Nethercot and Javernick proved to be unstoppable against the Rams, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Caleb Miranda was a beast in the backfield as Pueblo Centennial beat Mike Roof's team.
Javernick was the best receiver in the league this week as Canon City fell to Rampart.
Nethercot put up the best numbers in passing as Tom O'Rourke's team fell to JJ Owens' team.
He went 20-32 with 1 interceptions.
Miranda was the most successful running back in 4A Foothills this week. He ran for 249 yards on 17 carries as Mike Palumbo's team lost to the Rams.
Miranda was a passing and rushing force as the Bulldogs bested the Kadets.
