Basketball Recap: Northern Cambria Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Northern Cambria lost to Conemaugh Valley on Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Northern Cambria Colts managed a 59-53 win over the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays.

When it comes to explaining why Conemaugh Valley lost, don't look at Jeremy Dietz. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Eric Korhut was another key player, putting up four points along with ten boards and five assists.

Northern Cambria is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Conemaugh Valley, they dropped their record down to 10-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
