Recap: Ragsdale Tigers vs. Southwest Guilford Cowboys
The Ragsdale Tigers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 76-36 loss at the hands of Southwest Guilford. While losing is never fun, Ragsdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while Southwest Guilford is ranked 94th).
Patrick Carter was Ragsdale's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.
KJ Burke held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Ragsdale has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Southwest Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
Ragsdale will head out on the road to square off against Northwest Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest Guilford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grimsley at 7:30 p.m. Grimsley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
