Softball Recap: West Memphis Takes a Loss

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Parkview Patriots, falling 19-3.

West Memphis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Haralson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

West Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Parkview, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, West Memphis will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Armorel at 4:30 p.m. As for Parkview, they will venture away from home to challenge Maumelle at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
