Village Tech won the last time they faced A Plus Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Village Tech Viper Squid simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the A Plus Academy Knights 67-32. The Viper Squid have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Bryson Gaines, who went 9 of 15 en route to 26 points. Isaiah Thomas was another key player, going 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points and five steals.

Village Tech was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Village Tech and bumps their season record up to 20-5. As for A Plus Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Village Tech will host Life Oak Cliff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Village Tech is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season. As for A Plus Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Trinity Leadership at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Leadership will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something A Plus Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
