Baseball Game Preview: Pacifica Mariners vs. St. Augustine Saints

The Pacifica Mariners will take on the St. Augustine Saints in a tournament on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pacifica's offense. They fell 4-0 to Norco on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, St. Augustine didn't have quite enough to beat Maranatha on Thursday and fell 5-4.

St. Augustine saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mario Vitale, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

St. Augustine now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pacifica, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
