Volleyball Recap: South Mecklenburg Has No Trouble Against Ballantyne Ridge

The South Mecklenburg Sabres made easy work of the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sabres.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Mecklenburg was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-10.

Phoenix Modie was his usual excellent self, getting 12 kills, 12 digs, six aces, and three blocks. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Fancher, who had seven kills, seven digs, seven aces, and one block.

South Mecklenburg's record is now 4-1. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
