There's no place like home for Christian Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Temple Christian Crusaders 27-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since March 9, 2024.

Christian Community's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lyla Miller led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. Miller has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 22 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Anna Blumfeldt, who posted seven points and nine steals.

Christian Community now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Temple Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
