Baseball Recap: Santa Ana Comes Up Short

Santa Ana was the 5-3 winner over Godinez Fundamental when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Santa Ana fell just short of Godinez Fundamental by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Santa Ana has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. Godinez Fundamental's win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Santa Ana didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-4 loss against Century on the 22nd. As for Godinez Fundamental, they will face off against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
