Volleyball Recap: Fruitport Takes a Loss

Fruitport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Holland Christian Maroons. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Maroons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fruitport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Holland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

After both having extra time off, Fruitport and Holland will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Holland Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans face off against the Dutch, they'll take on Holland Christian again at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
