Softball Recap: Sumter County Panthers vs. Columbus Blue Devils
Sumter County fell victim to Columbus and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Columbus Blue Devils, falling 19-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Sumter County's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8. As for Columbus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumter County will host Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hardaway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
