It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Academic Magnet ultimately got the result they hoped for on Sunday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Riverside Warriors 1-0. That's two games straight that the Raptors have won by just one goal.

The win was the third in a row for Academic Magnet, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Riverside, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
