Baseball Recap: Todd County Central Victorious

While Todd County Central's win against Butler County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Todd County Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Butler County on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-3. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Todd County Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Jolly, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was Jolly's first of the season.

Todd County Central's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Butler County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Todd County Central will challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.75 runs per game on average), something Todd County Central will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Butler County, they will face off against Ohio County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
