Mountain Pointe (Phoenix) is the lone new No. 1 team in this week's MaxPreps regional football computer rankings, becoming the first team from Arizona to hold down a top spot in the rankings this year.
Mountain Pointe moved past Allen (Texas) to take over the No. 1 spot in the Southwest. Allen had been the No. 1 team in that region since taking over the top spot from DeSoto (Texas) two weeks ago.
The rest of the No.1 teams in the four other regions remained the same with Colerain (Cincinnati) No. 1 in the midwest, IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) No. 1 in the south, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) No. 1 in the west and St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) No. 1 in the northeast.
