Cholla is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Catalina an 11-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. The Cholla Chargers will be playing at home against the Catalina Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Cholla has given up an average of 20.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Cholla is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They took a 25-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nogales on Tuesday. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Apaches 10-1 in the first period.

Martha Zepeda was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Linarez, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Even though they lost, Cholla always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
